Praise the Lord! – Jane Greer Please pray for my niece Elizabeth who may need a mastectomy on Tuesday due to cancer, she is 28. Also, for my friend L who has just lost her job.

I'm posting this Prayer Request for a friend, who wishes to remain anonymous. Her niece and nephew live with their father, who is a drug addict and gang member. The nephew was taken out of the home by his mother, but the niece (14 years) is still there and has been smoking and doing drugs and doesn't want to leave. This is weighing very heavy on my friend's heart and she's been praying constantly that her Niece can be removed from this drug filled environment. Prayers for guidance and wisdom for the whole family as the Lord leads them.

We are asking for prayers for our Niece's daughter, Alice (9 years old), who suffers from neurofibromatosis. This is a very rare disease, caused by a genetic mutation in a gene, also known as Elephant Man's Disease. Alice is scheduled for surgery on September 14th, where she'll have a tumor removed from bone in her leg, the bone will also be removed and replaced by a cadaver bone. Later, Alice will have surgery for a tumor in her jaw. We are asking for a smooth surgery for Alice, for peace and calm for Alice and her parents, Rachel and Derek, and for knowledge for the doctors. We pray that this disease can remedy itself after puberty and Alice can live a normal life with no more tumor growth.

Sally Preston – Praise!! My sister-in-law’s cancer is gone! She met with radiologist and oncologist this past week and is cancer free. Nora, Jeremy and Jessie – for our family to learn about and progress to a relationship with Jesus. For wisdom, courage and discernment in our relationship and work progress. Patty Tipton – Please pray for travel mercies as we go to Sulfur Louisiana to visit our son this coming week. Pray for safety and a good visit. Carmen Vasconcellos - Please pray for healing for my son Brett and for my husband and I for our drinking. Updates - Bill Cook’s left eye is doing better, and Linda Howard is back home waiting for tests. Nance is home from surgery but still in some pain. Rebecca, our daughter, has two Boxer’s and both are older & medically challenged. One has cancer and will have to be put to sleep soon.
