Youth and Community Center Director

Since 2000, she has had the privilege of working with youth & children where she has prioritized building authentic connections and creating an environment where they feel seen, heard, and valued. She is energetic and passionate about seeing young people grow in their faith, discover their purpose, and develop a real relationship with God. Jackie and her husband Joshua are a beautiful, blended family and proud parents of Iliana, Elijah, Malakai, and Kyra.

Church Finance

Carol manages all of Lifepath’s accounting functions, including budgets, pledge drives, disbursements and financial reporting. She frequently works on various church teams that require financial expertise and also serves as the church Treasurer. Carol and her husband Jeff have three daughters, Sarah, Emily and Melanie.

Community Center Assistant Director

Delila has been part of Lifepath Church since 2016, where she has grown in various roles, including Sunday School teacher, VBS leader, and currently as the Assistant Director of the Community Center. Lovingly known as “Ms. Dee,” she is warm, approachable, and beloved by the children in our community. 

Delila creates a welcoming environment where children feel heard and valued, offering them a place where they can truly belong. With a strong background in education and life skills, she is dedicated to helping those in her care grow and thrive. Her passion for their development, both spiritually and personally, is evident in everything she does.

Choir Director

Jay serves as our Choir Director in the Traditional service. He also plays keys in the band that leads

our contemporary service.  He grew up in Chicago Illinois and after 2 years at Northeastern IllinoisUniversity he joined the United States 5th Army Band as pianist and oboist in 1974. While stationed in San Antonio Jay married his wife Debbie, they will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary in 2026, and have 1 daughter, four grandchildren, and two great Grands.  Jay received a Bachelor of Music degree in 1985 from the University of Texas at San Antonio. He has written songs that are staples in many Evangelical church’s including “We’ve Come to Praise You”, and “Lift Him Up”. Jay has been a member of Lifepath since 2011 and says he can’t imagine a better Church to be a part of.

Director of Children's Ministry

Dinell Martinez serves as the Children's Ministry Director at LifePath Church. From infancy to fifth grade, she oversees the programming for our children's ministry. She was born in California and raised in a military household. As a result, she relocated every three years until 2004, when she made her final move to Houston, Texas. Dinell and her husband have been together since July 2006, and they have two children, Saige and Sylus. Since 2005, Dinell has been working in the field of early childhood education, both studying and instructing students. Dinell is eager to work alongside you and your family to support your spiritual walk with Christ.

Communications Coordinator

Hi, I’m Iliana Hernandez, but most people know me as Mrs. Illy! I’m married to my husband, Joshua Hernandez, and we have a beautiful baby girl, Alaiia Hernandez.

I serve as the Communications Coordinator at Lifepath Church, where I get to combine my background in graphic design and digital marketing with my passion for ministry. I’ve grown up at Lifepath and have been a faithful member since 2015, serving in various roles over the years including VBS coach, community center volunteer, middle school teacher, and youth media volunteer.

A little about me—I love gaming and all kinds of artsy projects! I’m excited to continue working with media and communications, help answer any questions about Lifepath, and follow the leading of the Holy Spirit as I support the growth of our church.
