  • Pastor Elliott Scott

    Elliott’s time is split between keeping our church moving forward according to our vision, researching and writing sermons, counseling, visiting members and their families in the hospital and supervising the church staff. He graduated from Baylor University and Union Theological Seminary. Elliott has five children, a set of triplets (MaryAllie, Sam and Hannah Beth) and a set of twins (Jake and Judith).

  • Youth & Missions pastor Rich reaves

    Rich works with the adult leaders and the Student Leadership Team to keep the student ministry at Lifepath spiritual, meaningful and a whole lot of fun. Rich and his wife Leigh have two daughters, Harper and Sydney.

  • Jackie martinez

    Director of Children & Connections Ministry. Jackie leads all programming for children ages birth through 5th grade. She also develops our strategy for discipleship among families. As Director of Connections her goal is to integrate people into the life and participation of our faith community. Jackies is a proud mother of three children, Iliana, Elijah, and Malakai.

  • joe navarro

    Joe Navarro is the Director of our LP Community Center which will be opening this Fall 2020. Apart from being involved in several Life Groups like Choir, Garden, Sunday morning Adult Bible study class "Journey Thru the Scriptures" and also C.E.R.T. (Community Emergency Response Team), he leads his own Cycle Life Group and the Men's Ministry & Discipleship team. Joe will play an important role in this community helping the youth in outdoor activities, homework and any special activity that will occur monthly. Joe is a native from Miami, Florida and has been happily married to his beautiful wife Doris since February 2000. They are proud parents of Delila Navarro.

    Carol manages all of Lifepath’s accounting functions, including budgets, pledge drives, disbursements and financial reporting. She frequently works on various church teams that require financial expertise and also serves as the church Treasurer. Carol and her husband Jeff have three daughters, Sarah, Emily and Melanie.

  • jay blanton

    Jay leads worship during our Traditional service, as well as plays keyboards in the Band that leads our Contemporary service. Jay grew up in Chicago, Illinois. Jay and his wife Debbie have been married 35 years. Jay received his music degree from UT San Antonio and has been active in all aspects of church music for over 35 years.

    Nora is the Coordinator of Church Communications; being responsible for the day-to-day operations of the office, connecting people to ministries and service opportunities, and being a point person for troubleshooting Sunday morning issues. She is our primary marketing and communications leader, managing the church website, database, promotional marketing, graphic design, and image.

ELDERS

As an Elder we affirm our faith in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior and promise to follow Him as we serve Lifepath Church.


We accept the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments as the Word of God, and the only perfect rule for faith, doctrine, and conduct.


We promise to further the peace, unity, and purity of the church.


We will serve the people with energy, intelligence, imagination, and love. 


We will be faithful elders, watching over the people, providing for their worship, nurture, and service. We will try to show the love and grace of Jesus Christ. 

  • adult discipleship elder

    A Christian disciple is a student and follower of Jesus Christ. Christian discipleship is a process of spiritual development in which a person moves in the direction of spiritual maturity and likeness to Jesus Christ. As Adult Discipleship Elder, you will assist Lifepath to help adults become Christian disciples. In addition to the role of an elder as defined by the Evangelical Presbyterian Church Book of Order, you will evaluate the discipleship plans for adults to ensure they are relevant, attainable, and supported by the Church’s vision. You will also provide spiritual guidance to the small group, adult class and adult Bible study ministries; specifically supporting and guiding the Executive Pastor in following the vision and mission of the ministry, and ultimately the Church.

  • Children and family ministry Elder

    This person assumes the role of an elder as defined by the Evangelical Presbyterian Church Book of Order. In addition, as an elder assigned to the children’s and family ministry, evaluate the discipleship plans for children and families to ensure they are relevant, attainable, and supported by the Church’s vision. Provide spiritual guidance to the Children’s and Family Ministry; specifically supporting and guiding the Director of Children’s and Family Ministry in following the vision and mission of the ministry, and ultimately the Church.

  • Property elder

    This person assumes the role of an elder as defined by the Evangelical Presbyterian Church Book of Order. In addition, as an elder assigned to the facility ministry, they will manage our rented facility space to maximize our spiritual impact and worshipful atmosphere. They will also provide spiritual guidance to the Facility Ministry; specifically supporting and guiding the Ministries Facilitator in following the vision and mission of the ministry, and ultimately the Church.

  • Property elder

    This person assumes the role of an elder as defined by the Evangelical Presbyterian Church Book of Order. In addition, as an elder assigned to the facility ministry, they will manage our rented facility space to maximize our spiritual impact and worshipful atmosphere. They will also provide spiritual guidance to the leaders of the Fellowship Ministries; specifically supporting and guiding them in following the vision and mission of the ministry, and ultimately the Church.

  • fellowship elder

    This person assumes the role of an elder as defined by the Evangelical Presbyterian Church Book of Order. In addition, as an elder assigned to the fellowship ministry, they will work to develop environments within the life of the church that help people cultivate friendships. They will also provide spiritual guidance to the leaders of the Fellowship Ministries; specifically supporting and guiding them in following the vision and mission of the ministry, and ultimately the Church.

  • hospitality elder

    This person assumes the role of an elder as defined by the Evangelical Presbyterian Church Book of Order. In addition, as an elder assigned to the hospitality ministry, they will work to develop environments within the life of the church that help people not only feel welcome but also cultivate friendships. They will also provide spiritual guidance to the leaders of the Hospitality Ministry; specifically supporting and guiding them in following the vision and mission of the ministry, and ultimately the Church.

  • Hospitality Elder

    This person assumes the role of an elder as defined by the Evangelical Presbyterian Church Book of Order. In addition, as an elder assigned to the hospitality ministry, they will work to develop environments within the life of the church that help people not only feel welcome but also cultivate friendships. They will also provide spiritual guidance to the leaders of the Hospitality Ministry; specifically supporting and guiding them in following the vision and mission of the ministry, and ultimately the Church.

  • Finance & administration elder

    This person assumes the role of an elder as defined by the Evangelical Presbyterian Church Book of Order. In addition, as an elder assigned to the finance and administration ministry, they will provide oversight to the financial and administrative areas to ensure that our resources are being used in support of the Church’s vision. They will also provide spiritual guidance and support to the Financial Controller.

  • mission elder

    This person assumes the role of an elder as defined by the Evangelical Presbyterian Church Book of Order. In addition, as an elder assigned to the missions and outreach ministry, they will evaluate the community development and outreach plans to ensure they are relevant, attainable, and supported by the Church’s vision. They will also provide spiritual guidance and support to Lifepath volunteers in following the vision and mission of the ministry, and ultimately the Church.

  • student ministry elder

    This person assumes the role of an elder as defined by the Evangelical Presbyterian Church Book of Order. In addition, as an elder assigned to the student ministry, they will evaluate the discipleship plans for students to ensure they are relevant, attainable, and supported by the Church’s vision. They will also provide spiritual guidance to the Student Ministry; specifically supporting and guiding the Student Ministry Leadership Team in following the vision and mission of the ministry, and ultimately the Church.

  • worship ministry elder

    To give logistical and spiritual oversight to the area of Worship Arts within Lifepath Church and fulfill the role of an elder according to the Evangelical Presbyterian Church Book of Order.

DEACONS
